Collaborative Concepts presents: The Farm Project 2017
September 2, 2017 @ 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
Open daily to the public, free of charge, 10am to dusk.
Collaborative Concepts, invited local and national artists to place sculptures throughout 140 acres of a working historic farm in Garrison, NY. Located across the Hudson River from West Point, the rolling hills and wooded glens of Saunders Farm culminate in panoramic views of the Hudson Highlands. Black Angus cattle can be seen grazing peacefully in stone-walled pastures.
Collaborative Concepts at Saunders Farm is made possible, in part, by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the NY State Legislature. In Putnam County this grant program is managed and monitored by the Putnam Arts Council, Mahopac, NY. Additional funding comes from the Putnam Arts Fund (PAF), which is supported with public funds from Putnam County. Thanks also to the Anastasi Foundation.
From north or south on Route 9: turn east on Travis Corners Road, opposite Garrison Golf Club, take to end. Turn left on Old Albany Post Road, approx. 1/2 mile to parking. Entrance to Farm on Old Albany Post Road. (Coyote Rise Road–it will not bring you to Farm.)
From MetroNorth RR, Garrison Station, call 265-TAXI before leaving.
