Catch two performances by The Orchestra Now live-streamed from Fisher Center this month! TŌN music director Leon Botstein kicks off the spring season with “Schoenberg & Bach” on February 7th. Also on the program are works for string orchestra by Venezuelan composer Teresa Carreño and Polish composer Witold Lutosławski. Then listen to “NEW & CLASSIC WORKS FOR STRINGS” which features the world premiere of a new work by composer Sarah Hennies, a Visiting Assistant Professor of Music at Bard College, and the 2005 piece Popcorn Superhet Receiver by Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood, which was used in the film There Will Be Blood. Tune in February 21.
