DESCRIPTION:Join a special guided tour of Fortress West Point that explores the River and the Rock narrative and West Point’s role during the American Revolution. Offered June through August for the 250th Anniversary Season\, the tour travels along trails and historic sites with an emphasis on battlefield lore and military history. Conducted in English\, the experience is outdoors and involves extended walking over uneven terrain to reach key viewpoints and interpretive stops. Highlights: In-depth River and the Rock narrative focused on West Point’s Revolutionary War history Access to historic trail areas and scenic viewpoints not typically covered on regular tours Small-group experience with a reduced number of guests on the trail Check in details: Offered once daily\, operates on a smaller bus to limit guests on the trail. Special requirements: Tour requires significant walking and portions on elevated\, uneven trails with no pavement; not suitable for children or guests with mobility concerns. No restroom stops during the tour. All tours conducted in English. Restrictions: No food allowed on the tour.
