Highlights: In-depth River and the Rock narrative focused on West Point’s Revolutionary War history Access to historic trail areas and scenic viewpoints not typically covered on regular tours Small-group experience with a reduced number of guests on the trail Check in details: Offered once daily\, operates on a smaller bus to limit guests on the trail. Special requirements: Tour requires significant walking and portions on elevated\, uneven trails with no pavement; not suitable for children or guests with mobility concerns. DESCRIPTION:By the early 1800s\, Dutchess County was home to the greatest number of Quakers outside of Philadelphia. As part of the ongoing Rev250 celebration commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence\, several Quaker meeting houses will be participating in the second-annual Dutchess County Quaker Meeting House tours.
