DESCRIPTION:By the early 1800s\, Dutchess County was home to the greatest number of Quakers outside of Philadelphia. As part of the ongoing Rev250 celebration commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence\, several Quaker meeting houses will be participating in the second-annual Dutchess County Quaker Meeting House tours. The show is performed in front of the Bannerman Residence (the smaller castle). \nPerformances are scheduled for Sept. 15\, 16\, 17\, 18\, 19\, 20\, 23\, 25 and 26\, 2026. \nThe event includes your round-trip cruise to and from the Pollepel Island on The Bannerman Castle Trust’s Estuary Steward tour boat.
