Among the festival favorites are the tethered hot-air balloon rides\, full hot-air balloon flights\, morning yoga\, fireworks\, live music and entertainment\, food trucks\, a beer and wine tent\, local vendors\, a whole bunch of family activities and more. Bring a picnic blanket and chairs and watch the action from the designated picnic area. \nAfternoon launches are at 5:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday\, and mornings at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. DESCRIPTION:By the early 1800s\, Dutchess County was home to the greatest number of Quakers outside of Philadelphia. As part of the ongoing Rev250 celebration commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence\, several Quaker meeting houses will be participating in the second-annual Dutchess County Quaker Meeting House tours. Filled with fine and decorative Asian and Renaissance art\, including complete 18th-century rooms transplanted from private villas in Italy\, France\, and England\, the House is a treasure in its own right. From 2 PM to 3 PM\, guests are invited to linger a little longer with Tea Time in the historic Music Room. Reflecting the English tradition cherished by Lucie Rosen since the early 1910s\, the service features freshly made tea sandwiches\, warm scones\, delicate desserts\, and a selection of fragrant herbal teas.
