DESCRIPTION:By the early 1800s\, Dutchess County was home to the greatest number of Quakers outside of Philadelphia. As part of the ongoing Rev250 celebration commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence\, several Quaker meeting houses will be participating in the second-annual Dutchess County Quaker Meeting House tours.
