A collaboration of tourism partners, Wine, Water, and Wonders showcases all the travel treasures found throughout New York State including the must-try dining scene, exquisite wine regions, exceptional arts and cultural attractions, historical sites, outstanding entertainment, outdoor adventures and plentiful shopping. In the Hudson Valley, visitors can add Orange, Rockland, Ulster and Westchester Counties to their itineraries as they explore all the region has to offer.

Orange

Orange County is just 50 miles from New York City, a place to dine on the Hudson River, visit wineries, raft the Delaware River, hike the Appalachian Trail, and spend the night with a view of our beautiful mountains. There are endless opportunities to experience all the county has to offer. Most of all, it’s a place to have fun! Some of New York State’s biggest attractions are right here in Orange County, including United States Military Academy at West Point, Storm King Art Center, LEGOLAND® New York, and Woodbury Common Premium Outlets.

Ulster

From the site where the first meeting of New York State’s Senate took place, Senate House in Kingston, to Historic Huguenot Street in New Paltz, you can take a trip back in time to discover all the history that was made in Ulster County. With 350 miles of hiking and biking trails, streams for fishing, and 35 peaks for skiing and snowshoeing, Ulster County lures nature lovers year-round. The Hudson River provides cruises, kayaking, canoeing and sailing, with access from many locations. Quaint shops, local eats, breathtaking views, rich history—find all of this and more in our vibrant communities.

Westchester

Located between the Hudson River and Long Island Sound, just north of New York City, Westchester County offers appeal, attractions and adventures far beyond the everyday without going far. Rockland

Rockland County is located within 30 miles of New York City, along the majestic Hudson River and features idyllic waterfront villages, mountain vistas, hiking trails, historic sites, art galleries, world-class restaurants, boutique hotels, scenic bed and breakfasts, award-winning golf courses, upscale shopping and MORE! Outdoor adventures abound at Bear Mountain State Park while history lovers will enjoy visiting the Stony Point Battlefield and Lighthouse – the Hudson River’s oldest. Families can participate in the many seasonal events at Cropsey Community Farm, a 25-acre farm located in New City, NY that dates back to the American Revolution.
