Hidden In Plein Sight 3pm Reception, 4pm Auction begins
On May 9, Garrison Art Center will proudly present Hidden In Plein Sight: Our Hudson Valley, a live auction celebrating contemporary artists and the Hudson Valley’s distinctive landscape. This annual event will showcase more than 40 works across a range of 2D mediums, sparking dialogue between the region’s natural environment and its creative community.
Guests will enjoy a gallery preview with refreshments before the live auction, led by Nicholas Lowry of Swann Auction Galleries and Antiques Roadshow, set against Garrison Art Center’s scenic riverside backdrop. As our largest annual fundraiser, Hidden In Plein Sight aims to raise $40,000 in support of our mission to make art accessible and to sustain a vibrant, inclusive arts community. Proceeds directly support our exhibitions and educational programs. In addition to the incredible art up for auction, we’re excited to offer a raffle featuring some truly special prizes. Try your luck at winning a one-year Explore membership to the Museum of Modern Art or a private tour for two of MANITOGA / The Russel Wright Design Center.
