Infantry Baseball Presents “Homers for Heroes” Featuring Former MLB Stars at Heritage Financial Park

Step up to the plate and compete on the big stage alongside celebrity guests and baseball stars! Open to boys and girls ages 7 through college, Homers for Heroes gives young athletes the chance to showcase their skills, cheer on their teammates, and experience the excitement of hitting a home run — all while supporting a great cause. Each age division will crown a Home Run Derby champion. All homers will benefit the men and women who serve America through the Folds of Honor program. Meet-and-greets and autograph opportunities with celebrities and special guests will be available throughout the day.

Stars expected to participate include former major leaguers Jose Canseco, Shane Spencer, Jonny Gomes and Clint Frazier; Alex Hugo of the USA Women’s National Team; sports radio personality Keith McPherson; Chauncey Leopardi, who played Michael “Squints” Palledorous in the film “The Sandlot;” and many others.
