The Declaration Distributed: Westchester County’s Holt Broadside of 1776
The Neuberger Museum of Art, SUNY Purchase, partners with Westchester County Government to present The Declaration Distributed: Westchester County’s Holt Broadside of 1776, a special exhibition centered around New York State’s historic adoption and distribution of the Declaration of Independence. The exhibit will run from July 4 through December 20, 2026, and features Westchester County Government’s Holt Broadside copy of the Declaration of Independence, which was read in White Plains shortly after the document was signed. The exhibit offers visitors a rare opportunity to view this important document and highlights Westchester County’s critical role in the nation’s founding.
