Bimi’s Canteen

Bimi’s Cheese Shop has been an anchor in the charming village of Chatham since 2014. Nearly 10 years later, the owners have decided to expand the cheese-centered store to offer customers a place to gather and share a meal or a cocktail at Bimi’s Canteen and Bar. The eclectic restaurant launched its fondue dishes in early December to ring in the winter season. Choose from the simple fondue, which includes a four-cheese mix along with chunks of freshly baked bread, or opt for the grand fondue, which elevates the simple to include a bountiful platter of fresh vegetables, fruits, and sausage.

Stone Ridge

This spot is more than just a restaurant in Stone Ridge, but also a wedding venue, bar and lounge, and fireside hangout. Outside on the patio, the Cauldron Bar features an après ski-inspired menu for dining and heartwarming cocktails. Open each autumn and winter, the eatery features toasty swinging cauldrons and cozy menu items that excite, especially the mini fondue pot. A mix of gruyere and white wine simmers in the pot as you dip bread and veggies to your delight next to the fireplace.

The Creek

Croton Falls

Right around the corner from the Metro-North train station in Croton Falls, you’ll find The Creek Restaurant and Bar. A bit of a hidden gem, The Creek has an exciting menu with modern cuisine ranging from sashimi nachos to steak eggrolls. For the winter, the Westchester eatery also has a fondue dish on the menu to pair alongside a specialty cocktail or glass of red. Go for the basics and order the dish with bread on the side or upgrade your selection with steak or mixed vegetables.

Last Chance Restaurant

In the tiny town of Tannersville, Last Chance is a spot for antiques and café dining, with comfort food dishes like soups, wings, and mac and cheese. Come from nearby Hunter Mountain for warming fondue after skiing or snowboarding all day and experience a classic Swiss recipe accompanied by French bread and your choice of apples, charcuterie, or vegetables on the side.

The Melting Pot

White Plains

As its name suggests, this popular spot is all about cheese at multiple locations across the country. Head to White Plains to enjoy The Melting Pot experience, which includes interactive dining for you to create memorable moments with family and friends. Almost every item on the menu incorporates fondue, ranging from four-course dinners for two to three-course cheese and chocolate fondue pots. Along with your fondue, enjoy a salad, entrée, and sweet bites for dessert.
