Treasury Cider is traditionally crafted, tree-to-bottle hard cider made only from apples grown on this family farm, which was founded more than a century ago by Henry Morgenthau Jr., who served as the Secretary of the Treasury under Franklin D. Roosevelt (that’s why it’s called Treasury Cider). Fishkill Farms grows 80 varieties of apples, which are picked as late as possible to allow more flavor to develop, and then pressed in small batches on a traditional rack and cloth press.
