Rockland Honey
Sourced from bee hives located throughout the county, Rockland Honey comes in many unique flavors and varieties including chunk, creamed and comb honey. Nahmias et Fils—Yonker’s first micro-distillery—produces award-winning artisanal spirits. Based on an heirloom family recipe dating back to 1900, its Mahia is a traditional Moroccan spirit distilled from figs. In addition to making beer with 100 percent local ingredients, these guys malt all of their own grains and are passionate about supporting New York farmers. Check out their Beer Café on Main Street in Catskill where you’ll find a small menu of finger-foods to complement a rotating offering of beers.
