Albany’s signature spring event returns for its 76^th year. Attend the Tulip Fest in Washington Park this Mother’s Day weekend. Explore garden beds of more than 140,000 tulips in 150 different varieties, shop nearly one hundred artisans selling handmade crafts, enjoy a fine arts show, delicious food, the KidZone, the crowning of the Tulip Queen, the Capital Region’s Best Mom Ceremony, and two stages of entertainment with headliners including The Front Bottoms.

Kick off your festivities in early May with a Tulip Tour led by Albany’s City Gardener. Tours take place May 1, May 2, May 3, May 8, and May 9. Observe the Street Scrubbing on Friday, May 10, this Dutch tradition is viewed as the official kick off to the festival!
