Celebrate National Poetry Month with “Five Poets,” an event that will feature five award-winning New York poets who will read and discuss their work.

The program brings distinguished writers Catherine Barnett, Jason Koo, Stephen Massamilla, Silvina Lopez Medin, and debut author and translator Tiffany Troy, all of whom have won awards for their publications. The event will showcase the range and depth of the poetry enlivening the literary landscape of New York and the Hudson Valley. The event is curated by poet Ruth Danon, who is also the curator and founder of “Live Writing: A Project for the Reading, Writing, and Performance of Poetry.” Audience members will also have the opportunity to meet and discuss work with the poets and buy copies of autographed books.
