Celebrate Pride Month in Dutchess County in the heart of New York’s Hudson Valley! Join the PKGO Pride Parade and Festival, which is always held on the second Saturday in June. The festival at Victor C. Waryas Park in Poughkeepsie will feature local queer-owned businesses, food vendors and activities for children and families. Click here for updates. The Dutchess County Pride Center is a safe place for members of the LGBTQ+ community, including youth, young adults, their families and allies, to feel comfortable and free to express themselves. The goal is to support, educate and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, including LGBTQ+ youth and their families, through outreach, support groups and social events.
