Tangent Theatre and The Moviehouse Present a Play Reading: “God of Carnage”
December 7 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Celebrate the arts and join Tangent Theatre Company at The Moviehouse in Millerton for a play reading of the Tony award-winning “God of Carnage” by Yasmina Reza (translated by Christopher Hampton). Biting and wickedly funny, the story examines social norms, self-absorption and an inevitable breakdown in civility, as two sets of Brooklyn parents meet after a playground altercation.
Produced by Andrea Rhodes and directed by Tracy Carney with stage direction by Steven Young, this performance features Jeffrey Doornbos, Molly McClarnon, Audrey Rapoport and Michael Rhodes.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Enjoy wine, beer and concessions in the upstairs Theater 3 lounge (accessible via stairs or elevator). The play runs approximately 90 minutes and is performed without an intermission.
