The Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra Presents “The Golden Age of Hollywood”

The Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra presents “The Golden Age of Hollywood” at The Marriot at The Culinary Institute of America. The performance will feature scores from classic films like “Casablanca,” “Sunset Boulevard,” “Psycho,” and “Ben-Hur,” immersing the audience in the magic and drama of classic cinema. Internationally acclaimed violinist Uli Speth will perform Erich Wolfgang Korngold’s “Violin Concerto,” famously known as the “Hollywood Concerto” for its rich, cinematic sound.
Arrive at 3:15 p.m. for a special presentation by Bard College Professor Joseph Luzzi, which will include film clips and anecdotes about this exciting period in Hollywood.
